This isn't a very good picture, but Austin and I got into a punching war one night and this is what happened to him! His hand was pretty swollen and his arm looked like he was hit by a tank. Ya that's right, I'm a tank :) He was a good sport though for his first time.

Last month Julie and I took on mowing Mom's lawn. It would take us about an hour and a half, one person mowing, one person edging/weed wacking. It was a lot of fun though. Julie is always up for doing service projects like that. Then Mom showed us some of her little trinkets and McDonald's toys.

This is what I look like with a mustache! I left it on just for church and it was really funny to talk to people and know they were starring at it but didn't want to say anything to me. Julie's mom noticed it first thing when I walked into the chapel and started pointing at her upper lip in digust :) It was fun.

Jorgen and his soon to be Mrs... Go Jorgen :)

Playing football with the boys at a family picnic.

Memorial Day. We were able to find Grandpa Jensen's grave and edged it.

Julie working on her art homework. She usually takes over the kitchen. She has also started teaching art lessons to kids on tuesdays. That has been her goal for a while and it is fun to see it actually start happening.

Julie and I went to Lake Powell for a few days with her family. They brought their boat and we rented two jet ski's. It was a really fun trip.

On our way home from Lake Powell we road a ferry to cut an hour and a half off our drive home and it was well worth it.

  1. Dave, this was so fun. I really enjoyed seeing pictures and hearing about what you and Julie are up to. You should blog more often! Yah, I'm one to talk. I blog about once a year. Leah's got me covered, though. Thanks for sharing. Oh yah - when's Austin going to learn not to mess with The Tank?!
