After the glitter and lights...

So things are finally starting to calm down around here for Julie and I. We have gotten settled into our daily routines. Sadly, we hardly get to see much of each other any more. Today we got to substitute teach the 5 year old's in primary! That was so much fun. It was really cute to see how quickly they opened up to Julie and I. We taught them about following the commandments and how they are like a map to guide us back to our heavenly father, then we had a treasure hunt with clues which were like the commandments which guided them to the treasure (CTR rings and a picture of Christ). They had some really funny comments too. The lady in sharing time was talking about families being together forever and a kid behind us raised his hand and said, "Yeah, but they wont REALLY be together forever" and we would ask the kids questions like what their last name is and they would chime in, I'm 5! Totally random cute stuff. We both got callings today too. Julie was called into to the nursery and I was called as a ward missionary. Should be kinda fun.
Here are some fun pictures from a little while ago:

William's "Jealous" moment!

Julie and I at an Orem Owls baseball game.

Oh yeah I forgot one thing... Kimball and Lora bought the first two seasons of the TV series LOST. I rolled my eyes when I was invited to watch it cause I thought it was going to be really dumb, but now im addicted! We went over there friday night and watched about 6 hours straight, then again on Saturday night. Its like one long movie that never ends!

A new family, a new blog

Hello everyone! As most of you know Julie and I just got married on December 31, 2008. It was the most perfect day, blue sky, some white clouds, and snow on the ground. I loved it. Here are some samples that our photographer sent us.

We had a great turn out both to the wedding/luncheon and to the reception. Julie and I went to Disneyland for our honeymoon. That was lots of fun, except for the long lines and being cold parts. The Hollywood Tower was deffinetly a favorite of ours. While we were gone our families were so nice and did a lot of work on our appartment for us to get it live-able for when we got back. We had done lots of improvements all in all so its looking wonderful now. It was a lot of fun to have Chris and Jeanette here for a couple days, so thank you to their families for letting us steal them.
Our reception yesterday was great. We had it at Julie's Aunt's reception center. They still had all the fancy Christmas decorations up, so it looked really nice and elegant. Mom (Doris) made the wedding cake which turned out wonderful. Poor Preston chocked on a piece of candy and had to go to the hospital. At the end everyone received sparklers for the magical send off. They stood outside in the snow with lit sparklers along the walkway and cheered as we walked to my car, which was decorated by Austin and I think a few of Kimball's kids the day of the wedding.
Julie and I are now back starting our day to day stuff. We were talking a little bit ago and both agree that it doesnt really feel a whole lot different yet. With our school and work schedules we will hardley get to see each other except on weekends, so not a whole lot has changed in that regard. But its great when we do get to see eachother.
